Description
Vicks VapoSteam is a liquid medication for use in the Vicks Vaporizer or other hot/warm steam vaporizers. VapoSteam increases the action of steam to moisten dry, irritated breathing passages and temporarily relieve coughs due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with a cold. Child Resistant Cap. Easy for Adults to open.
Adults and children 2 years of age and older: Add one tablespoon of solution for each quart of water, directly to the water in hot steam vaporizer. Breathe in medicated vapors. May be repeated up to 3 times daily, or as directed by a doctor.
Children under 2 years of age: Ask a doctor.
Never expose VapoSteam to flame, microwave, or place in any container in which you are heating water except a hot/warm steam vaporizer. Never use VapoSteam in any bowl or washbasin with hot water. Improper use may cause the mixture to splatter and cause burns.
In Hot/Warm Steam Vaporizers: VapoSteam is formulated to be added directly to the water in your hot/warm steam vaporizer. Do not direct steam from vaporizer too close to face. For best performance, vaporizers should be thoroughly cleaned after each use according to manufacturer's instructions. To promote steaming, follow directions of vaporizer manufacturer.

Caution
For steam inhalation only. Do not take by mouth. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache, ask a doctor. Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
Accidental ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
Eye Exposure: In case of eye contact, flush with water. Seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
