Description
Mefix is a self-adhesive fabric for secure fixation. The porous structure of the Sontara nonwoven fabric ensures air and water vapour permeability. Mefix is flexible, conforms well to body contours and allows body movement when in place. It is non-absorbent and hydrophobic, and reduces the potential of blood and fluid strike-through by increasing overall absorbency of the dressing. Mefix has a polyacrylate adhesive which is designed to be gentle to the skin and provide secure fixation.
