LUSTRA-AF provides all the benefits of LUSTRA with the addition of full-spectrum UVA and UVB coverage. Sunscreens are recommended for use with products containing hydroquinone to prevent repigmentation. Whereas other products containing 4% hydroquinone offer UVB protection, only LUSTRA-AF contains Parsol 1789 to protect against pigment-causing UVA rays. LUSTRA-AF is not intended to prevent sunburn.
Birth Control Pills, Pregnancy and sun exposure can cause hyperpigmentation. Lustra cream is a revolutionary product. It helps fade skin discolorations which resulting from excess sun, pregnancy, the use of oral contraceptives, or any combination of these factors with special ingredients that work in four ways to restore and maintain beautiful skin:
1. Hydroquinone improves skin color by inhibiting the production of excessive skin pigment that can lead to uneven color or dark spots.
2. The active antioxidant system (Vitamins C and E) defends the skin against environmentally induced free radicals and builds a reservoir to help maintain cellular integrity.
3. Alpha hydroxy acid (glycolic acid) enhances exfoliation, which increases cell turnover and sheds the overpigmented cells more quickly, and helps reduce the visible signs of skin aging.
4. Moisturizers help improve the overall appearance of the skin ? tone, clarity and suppleness.

BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE, apply a small amount to an unbroken patch of skin. Check in 24 hours for itching or excessive redness or inflammation. If this area is extremely red or inflamed, do not use this medicine on other areas. DO NOT USE this medicine near your eyes. If you get some in your eyes, wash them out with water and contact your doctor. PROTECT YOUR SKIN FROM THE SUN while using this medicine. Use a sunscreen or wear protective clothing. DO NOT USE on irritated or injured skin. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE WITH PEROXIDE. This may cause a dark staining of your skin. The staining can be removed by stopping the use of the peroxide and washing your skin with soap and water. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
