Description
Advanced Formula KaopectateŽ is a pleasant tasting, concentrated liquid that provides fast, effective relief of diarrhea and cramps. Kaopectate liquid help control the symptoms of diarrhea.
Directions:
Shake well before each use.For best results, take full recommended dose at first sign of diarrhea and after each subsequent bowel movement Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration which may accompany diarrhea
Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 2 tablespoons
Children 6 to 12 years of age: 1 tablespoon
Children 3 to under 6 years of age: 1/2 tablespoon
Store at room temperature (not to exceed 86° F or 30° C).
Ingredient
Active Ingredients: Each tablespoonful contains: Attapulgite (750 mg)
Inactive Ingredients: FD&C Red #40, Flavors, Glucono Delta Lactone, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Methylparaben, Sorbic Acid, Sucrose, Titanium Dioxide, Xanthan Gum, Purified Water.
Caution
Do not use for more than two days unless directed by a doctor. Do not use if diarrhea is accompanied by fever or if blood or mucus is present in stool. Do not use in infants or children under 3 years of age unless directed by a doctor. If you are taking a prescription medicine, consult your doctor before taking this product. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
