Description
Sometimes babies skip a few bowel movements and then the stool gets so hard it's difficult and painful for them to push it out. Always check with your doctor first but if increasing water intake doesn't solve the problem you'll probably do well to have infant Colace drops around. Tastes terrible but you only have to use a few drops as opposed to other brands which require several teaspoonfuls a day.
Directions:
Infants and children under 3: As prescribed by physician. Children 3 to 6 years: 2 mL 1 to 3 times daily with 120 mL of milk or fruit juice or in infant's formula (to mask the bitter taste), until bowel movements are normal.
