Description
BENZAC AC water base gel contains benzoyl peroxide as the medicinal ingredient in a gel base. This formulation absorbs excess oil and adds moisture for more comfortable acne therapy. Wash thoroughly with a non-medicated cleanser and water. Apply BENZAC AC gel thinly to affected areas twice daily or as directed by your physician. Fair-skinned persons should begin with one application. Replace cap tightly after each use.
Ingredient
MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Benzoyl peroxide 5% in a water base gel.
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Acrylates copolymer, carbomer 940, docusate sodium, edetate disodium, glycerin, poloxamer 182, propylene glycol, purified water, silicon dioxide, and sodium hydroxide. May contain citric acid to adjust pH.
Caution
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, nostrils and mouth. If inadvertent contact occurs, rinse area thoroughly with water. Slight stinging and redness may occur at the beginning of treatment. First test on a small area; if excessive dryness or irritation occurs then or during treatment, discontinue use and consult a physician. If there is not substantial improvement within three to four weeks, consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature; avoid excessive heat. May bleach hair and coloured fabrics.
