Description
For fast relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach with headache or body aches and pains. Also for fast relief of upset stomach with headache from overindulgence in food and drink - especially recommended for taking before bed and again on arising. Effective for pain relief alone; headache or body and muscular aches and pains.
Directions:
Dissolve Alka-Seltzer in 4 oz of water before taking.
Adults: 2 tablets every 4 hours not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours (60 years or older 4 tablets in a 24-hour period).
Ingredient
Active Ingredients: Each Tablet Contains: Aspirin 325 mg, Heat Treated Sodium Bicarbonate 1700 mg, Alka Seltzer in water contains principally the antacid sodium citrate, and the analgsic sodium acetylsalicylate.
Inactive Ingredients: Artificial Flavor, Aspartame, Tableting Aids
Caution
Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye Syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. It is especially important not to use aspirin during the last three months of pregnancy unless specifically directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery.
